Welcome
Darling Downs Western Dressage Inc is a small club created to help develop the discipline of western dressage in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region by hosting training days, clinics, schooling shows and formal competitions.

The club's aim is to promote a friendly, social atmosphere where riders of all levels and disciplines can come and learn about western dressage and improve their horse and riding.

Most competitions and schooling shows will be held at various venues throughout the Darling Downs and Lockyer valley when possible.

Venues for training days and clinics will vary depending upon availability.


The Committee
The Club's committee at present is quite small but our membership base is growing all the time and the committee will increase as membership base increases.

Membership
Membership cost for 2018 is just $20/rider senior or junior.

Family $60 for 3 or more riders.

Membership year runs from January to December. Riders must be current members to attend all training days, clinics and competitions.

2018 Hi-Point Award
Once again in 2018 the club will be running it's hi-point competition.
The winning combination will have achieved the highest average percent in their respective division by attending a minimum of 2 of the club's approved competitions throughout the year. Best 4 scores will be averaged. Membership MUST be financial by 30 June 2018 to be eligible.

DDWD Western Dressage competition









Training days/clinics
Where possible informal training days will run on a format with group ride in the morning followed refreshments.
General clinics will run with group ride in morning followed by test riding in the afternoon in groups or individual
IF you are interested in the club conducting a clinic in your area please let us know.


Western Dressage Schooling Competition
These events are a relaxed training show run in the format of a competition with tests, judges and ribbons/rosettes for placings to 6th in each class. Classes will be run in Senior and Junior divisions with a minimum of one test at each level.
